Our Services

You deserve to be seen and supported as a whole person - not a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, drawing on lived experience and evidence-informed methods to meet your unique needs. Together, we will create a supportive space to understand your experiences through a holistic lens that will help you move towards lasting healing and growth.

I provide therapy virtually or by phone to individuals across Ontario, making support accessible from the comfort of your own space. For those who prefer something different, I also offer sessions rooted in the community or outdoors—spaces that can bring a sense of calm, grounding, and openness to the work we do together.

I support children (ages 6+), teens, and adults, and I also offer support to parents/caregivers and school professionals. This helps extend the healing beyond the therapy and brings what is learned into daily life, at home and in the classroom. I am always willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve your health outcome!

Challenges I Provide Support For

  • These can feel all-consuming—often showing up as racing thoughts, tension, restlessness, or a sense that your body is always on alert. I approach these experiences through a nervous-system lens, helping you understand what your body is trying to communicate and how to find rest and ease.

  • Depression or low mood can make life feel heavy and disconnected, leaving even simple tasks feeling overwhelming. Rather than focusing on “fixing” symptoms, I work with you to gently reconnect to what feels meaningful and alive. We’ll explore what might be weighing on mind-body-spirit and consider how past experiences may have impacted you and how to find hope, joy, and meaning again.

  • Being neurodivergent in a world built for neurotypicals can be exhausting—even in healing spaces. I strive to create a space where your unique ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world are truly seen and valued. I also recognize that ABA/IBI can be a source of trauma for many, and I work with a compassionate, sensory- and nervous-system-focused approach.

  • Trauma and life experiences can shape our sense of self, worth, and identity. I provide space to unpack and rebuild your identity. I also provide a safer space for those to explore gender and sexuality amongst other marginalized identities.

  • Whether its trauma or marginalized identities, we’ll determine what is driving your substance use through a harm-reduction approach. This helps you reduce your use and does not require abstinence unless that’s your goal.

  • Trauma isn’t only about what happened to you—it’s also about what you needed and didn’t receive. Its impact lives in both the mind and the body, shaping how we think, feel, and respond to the world. Trauma shifts the rhythm of our nervous system to keep us safe. In our work together, we gently build awareness to these patterns and move toward greater safety, balance, and self-trust.

Types of Therapy Offered

  • Is slow, intentional, and centered on your nervous system’s capacity for safety and stability. We begin by supporting regulation and stability in order to help your body feel grounded enough to move into deeper trauma processing. The final stage focuses on integration, where we make meaning of your experiences and strengthen your sense of self, all while avoiding re-traumatization and honouring your natural pace.

  • Invites you to meet yourself with kindness rather than criticism, even in moments of pain or struggle. This approach helps you build a more caring and balanced relationship with yourself, offering tools to stay present with difficult emotions without becoming overwhelmed.

  • Focuses on learning to notice and accept difficult thoughts and feelings, staying present through mindfulness. It helps you lean into acceptance and encourages taking action towards your values and building a meaningful life.

  • Somatic therapy is a body-based approach that recognizes how trauma and stress live within us—not just in our thoughts, but in our nervous system and physical sensations. Through gentle awareness, breathwork, mindfulness, and movement, we begin to listen to the body’s story and release what it’s been holding.

  • helps make sense of painful experiences by gently exploring the beliefs and meanings we’ve attached to them. When trauma happens, it can shape the way we see ourselves, others, and the world. It offers a structured yet compassionate way to untangle these thoughts, make space for new perspectives, and reconnect with a sense of safety and self-trust.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Trauma Focused-CBT help you notice and understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. When trauma or stress has shaped how you see yourself and the world, these approaches can gently guide you in challenging unhelpful patterns and developing new ways of thinking that feel more supportive and grounded.

  • Uses play as a primary tool to help children and others who benefit from this approach a way to address challenges in ways that are more creative rather than talk-focused.

Additional Notes on Services Provided:

  • I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for those without health insurance who may not otherwise be able to access therapy. If this support would be helpful, please feel free to reach out and we can explore this option together.
